Penrith is a suburb in New South Wales, located in Greater Western Sydney, 50 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district on the banks of the Nepean River.
Penrith is one of the major commercial centres in Greater Western Sydney. It’s two main shopping centres are Westfield Penrith, formerly known as Penrith Plaza and the Nepean Village.
Penrith Railway Station is a major railway station on the Northern, Western and North Shore lines of the greater Sydney trains network with frequent trains to the Sydney CBD.
Penrith can be accessed via the Great Western Highway.
