My name is Andy Chen and I’m the owner/operator of Car Care Lesmurdie and joined Car Care in March 2017. I provide the full range of Mobile Detailing services but especially paint correction, machine polishing & buffing. Sometimes I can’t believe the difference I can make! I have always liked detailing my own cars, that along with the flexibility of running my own business attracted me to Car Care. Car Care has been around a long time and has a good reputation. I have been living in Perth since the late 1990’s. I love Lesmurdie and the surrounding areas. I enjoy nature and there is a lot of natural beauty in the area that I try to capture with my interest in photography. I think my interest in photography helps me with an eye for detail and helps me to get the best results for my clients in all the work that I do.
Lesmurdie is a leafy bush suburb perched on the Darling Escarpment and is only 20km’s from Perth. With large blocks and in many cases sweeping views across the city and looking across The Mundy Regional Park and neighbouring suburbs like Forrestfield, Wattle Grove and Orange Grove.
Lesmurdie has a neighbouring suburb of Walliston, which as well as being a residential area houses a small industrial area with Panel shops, mechanics and the like.
It is also the gateway to the orchard district which takes in suburbs like Carmel and Bickley through to Pickering Brook.
Lesmurdie famously (or infamously as the case may be) was at least in part opened up further by Alan Bond who charmed the bank into lending him money after committing to buying the property for one of his earlier deals in 1959. He named the development Lesmurdie Heights and it is said immediately doubled the cost of property in his development with the new prestigious title and saying this is a “once in a lifetime opportunity”.
