This will usually mean a meeting with the fleet manager so we can develop an understanding of exactly what they want.

A great example is we find Real estate agents often have the boots of their vehicles full of signs and associated material. In these instance we might not vacuum the boot because of the time to remove it all and put it back.
Why is flexibility important in fleet services?
It helps achieve what the client needs while keeping a laser focus on the cost.
How can businesses avoid paying for unnecessary services?
Planning at the start is the key element along with consistent reviewing.
What factors might influence a customised plan?
The regularity will often play a large part in how much is done and will have a direct impact on cost. Where the client has the most “pain points”. How the vehicles are used, are they pool cars, are they taken home or part of a salary package. Certain parts of the car may only require minimal attention (if only one person is ever in the car etc).
How often can services be adjusted?

What fleet sizes can the company handle?
We currently manage companies/government departments with hundreds of cars.
How does the company manage large fleets efficiently?
We do our best to fit in with what the client needs and try to service the cars at times when it is the least disruption to the client. This will often mean early or late starts, visits on multiple days, in different locations as required.
What challenges come with managing large fleets?
The logistics, ensuring from our side that we are reliable with output and turn up at the allocated times. We often find our onsite contact critical here for the smooth running of the detailing service. Ensuring each individual vehicle flows through the rota on a consistent basis.
How does scalability benefit growing businesses?
Being able to scale will help keep the cost down.
What resources are required for large-scale operations?
From our end we require minimal resources as we bring everything with us. Generally all we need is the ability to top up water tanks, access to wash room facilities if we are onsite for long periods.
How does experience contribute to scalability?
We can help with suggestions the client often hasn’t even considered.
Why is scalability important for corporate clients?
It is important for cost management, obviously if we go to a site and only do 2 cars this (in most cases) will cost more than going to site and doing 10.
What ensures consistency across large fleets?
We endeavour to keep the same detailers going to the same sites this along with regular checks on outcomes delivers on ensuring consistency.
How does scalability affect pricing?
The more vehicles done on anyone visit will help keep the cost to a minimum.
Detailing Services
What is included in exterior detailing?
We will tailor this to suit but the absolute minimum would be exterior wash, dry and windscreen clean. A lot of clients will also want all windows, rims and tyres glossed as a minimum service level.
What is included in interior detailing?
As a standard we vacuum, wipe everything over and inside of windows. However we will tailor to suit, as an example during COVID we were wiping over with a sanitizer and doing an ozone treatment.
What is upholstery cleaning?
Cleaning all the fabric components on a vehicle. Seats, carpets, mats and some door trim. The headlining can also be done however caution in many cases is needed here.
Why is odour removal important?
No one wants to sit in a car (or anywhere for that matter) that smells, as well as being unpleasant in some circumstances it can be detrimental to health. Especially important when carrying clients around.
What is paint protection?
Paint protection is a coating that enhances the paintwork, assists in keeping the paint cleaner for longer. Makes it easier to clean and also ensure the paint condition is maximised for longer. The key to the best possible outcome is preparation.

This is very much up to the vehicle owner and the conditions the vehicle experiences day to day. For example a sales rep who is on the road every day and takes the car home but its not garaged anywhere between 2-4 weeks would be acceptable.

Anyone with fleet vehicles that have some kind of contact with their clients.
How do these services support branding?

The extra services within a full detail provide a much deeper clean as well as protection of surfaces.
On-Site Detailing
What is on-site detailing?
We work where the vehicle is located. The only caveats are we need some space and the environment needs to be safe.
Why is on-site service beneficial for fleets?
Less logistical effort, less vehicle movement. Time saving.
How does it reduce disruption to operations?
If done properly it should have no disruption or at worst very minimal on the businesses day to day operations.
What logistical challenges does it solve?
Vehicle movement, staff time.
How does mobile detailing work?
We come to you. We ascertain a good location for the work to be done on site. The staff member in charge of organising the services has the keys, we do the rest.
What equipment is needed for on-site services?
From the client nothing.
What types of locations can be serviced?
Everywhere provided we have detailers reasonably close by and there is a safe area at the desired location.
How does on-site detailing save time?
Staff have very little to organise other than ensuring the vehicles are accessible on the site at the agreed time. They can go about other duties.
What industries benefit most from mobile services?
Any industry or commercial enterprise whether it be private or government that uses vehicles in the course of their business.
What are the limitations of on-site detailing?
Sometimes lack of space on site makes it difficult or if there is a lot of vehicle movement where the detailing is organised to be done. Most place have a quiet corner we can work in, out of everyone’s way and not blocking any access.
Maintenance Programs
What are ongoing fleet maintenance programs?
This is a program agreed to when commencing to keep the fleet to a particular standard as the client requires.

When it becomes inconsistent and vehicles have longer between cleans, this can be a poor reflection on the business. It can also mean the detailing takes longer and potentially will cost more for that vehicle.
How are maintenance schedules determined?
Good communication between the business owner and the Car Care detailing team. This should ensure our detailing team deliver exactly what the client wants.
What are the benefits of scheduled detailing?
Consistent outcomes.
How do maintenance programs extend vehicle life?
They stop problems ballooning out of control.
What happens if maintenance is irregular?
It increases the possibility of decreased vehicle life. As well as that if these vehicles are seen by potential customers it can have an impact on the business itself that may not even be realised.
How can maintenance programs be customised?
Good dialogue at the start and then reviewing on a consistent basis.
What industries rely on regular maintenance?
Any industry that has vehicles on the road need regular maintenance especially mechanical but also aesthetically, keeping those mobile billboards looking their best.
How do these programs improve efficiency?
Not sure they have a direct result on efficiency. However the by-product we have found is it can have a direct impact on staff morale which can have obvious positive flow on effects.
How do they reduce long-term costs?
By keeping the vehicles in the best possible shape for when they are either sold or returned after their lease.

This industry is ever evolving and unfortunately there is no set standards. Additional / Specialty Services
What is vehicle re-branding?
Vehicle rebranding often occurs when a business has been taken over or has had an image refresh or update. We can remove the old decals (sign writing) and prepare the paintwork for the new logos.
Why would a company remove stickers?
For resale, return after lease or a change in company branding/image.
What is sign writing preparation?
It is getting the paint in good condition prior to putting new vinyl decals/stickers on. This in many instances means removing old vinyl stickers.
Why prepare vehicles for resale?
To get the best possible price for them.
What is paint overspray removal?
This is removing paint that has drifted in the air and settled on the vehicle. This can happen quite a bit especially in industrial areas.
What causes tree sap damage?
Parking under trees. Different times of the year can be worse than others, it can also be very dependant on what type of tree it is.
What are hard water marks?
This is the residue left behind when water (unless it is absolutely pure) dries on a vehicles paint and glass.
How is bitumen removed from vehicles?
Essentially it needs to be “reactivated” and gently removed from the surface.
Why is cement removal necessary?
It looks awful on a car, it will make it harder to not only keep clean but the cleaning itself. As well as that small amounts will break free during cleaning and scratch the vehicle.
How do these services add value?
They restore the vehicle paintwork back to as good as it can possibly be short of a re-spray.
