I started with Car Care initially in 2000 so I have experience in all aspects and services that Car Care provides. I had approximately a 3 year break from Car Care (the Fremantle area was where I started all those years ago) operating a boutique hotel in Thailand, starting again in 2012. Mandurah while almost joining the urban sprawl from the greater Perth Metropolitan Area is 72 km’s from the Perth CBD and is West Australia’s 2nd largest city. It is in the region of Peel along with four other local governments; Boddington, Murray, Serpentine-Jarrahdale and Waroona it haves its own hospital, The Peel Health Campus.
Until the 50’s and 60’s Mandurah was little more than a fishing village/holiday escape. It has formed around the Peel-Harvey Estuary and has had canal development in recent history in a similar – albeit on a much smaller scale – to the Gold Coast.
Some of the major suburbs encompassing the Mandurah district are: Halls Head, Dudley Park, Wannanup, North Yunderup, South Yunderup which are the main canal areas. Across to Pinjarra to the east and Greenfields which forms a large part of the commercial district for the Peel area. Then some of the major developments along the coast stretching from just south of Secret Harbour; Golden Bay, Singleton, Madora Bay, San Remo, Meadow Springs, Silver Sands down to Erskine, Falcon and on the other side of “The Cut” Port Bouvard and Dawesville.
