Hi, my name is Ian and I have been detailing with Car Care since 2001 and wish I had started sooner, I love the look I still get from my customers after I have rejuvenated their car. I have even done some pre-sale details that have looked so good the customer has decided to keep the car. I was in my previous life a ceiling fixer in the building trade and wanted something that gave me more control over my life. Car Care gives me the flexibility to pursue my passions. In my spare time I love to fish, and I am a great believer in putting back into the community with my other passion being a volunteer fire fighter and having my own business certainly allows me to do that. With some of the suburbs that I go detailing in there are a lot of trees about, so I am constantly trying to educate my customers about the hazards of parking under them (yes I know they keep your car cool in summer!) but as well as tree sap and blossom falling on your pride and joy birds sit in them. With what the trees drop and the birds this can create a real mess. One way to help is to use paint protection on your car which puts a sealant barrier between your paint and all the elements and will add to the life of your paintwork. Mindarie is on the north coast of the Perth Metro area and is about 36 km’s from the CBD. It is part of the rapidly expanding City of Wanneroo, some of its close neighbours are; up the coast Quinns Rocks, Jindalee and Alkimos then just in from the coast; Butler, Ridgewood, Merriwa and Clarkson. As with Mindarie all of these suburbs are relatively new and developing within a “stones throw” of the pristine beaches West Australia is known for. Mindarie is primarily a residential area with a marina called Mindarie Keys. This hasn’t as yet met its potential but has been flagged recently by the state government to receive some further assistance with its development. Due to its proximity to the major shopping, retail and commercial district of Joondalup, Mindarie and the surrounding suburbs have smaller shopping hubs the largest being Ocean Keys in Clarkson.
